Due to how inactive this wiki is when it comes to the discussions board, oh well, hope you leave a reply here, ha.

Well, this is my first but last post on this fandom wiki. Goodbye y'all users and enjoy this work of mines :)

• In the first movie, Charlie promised Anne-Marie he would visit her often, but in the sequel, he doesn't.

• The original movie was set in the 1930s, but in the sequel, it is set in the 1990s.

The thought of it popped into my mind all of a sudden. Now I’m thinking something like this should happen when we get news about it.

What I would love is the film to be set in two time periods (1989-2019), be a mixture of live action and animation (with the dog characters retaining their usual stylization) as well as incorporating elements of the sequel and TV series into it.

Best of all is that my favorite choice of director can be Reinaldo Marcus Green, whose previous film King Richard earned him a Best Picture nomination while actor Will Smith won his first (and only) Academy Award for Best Actor. Screenwriter Barry Jenkins, who won Best Picture for his 2016 film Moonlight, can pen the screenplay while trying to remain faithful to the 1989 classic.

One last thing there should be is a voice cast of the main characters:

• Josh Gad as Charles "Charlie" B. Barkin

• Keegan-Michael Key as Carface Caruthers

• Charlie Day as Itchiford "Itchy" Dachshund

• Zoe Saldaña as Sasha la Fleur

• Zendaya as Flo

• Bebe Neuwirth as Annabelle / Belladonna

• Kerry Shale as Killer

• Keith David as King Gator
