David is the good younger tetartagonist male character in All Dogs Go to Heaven 2.

David is a young male Caucasian, with ginger hair, and Marine blue eyes. His outfit is the cream-pale and red jacket, white blouse underneath jacket, blue jeans, cream-pale and brown shoes, and magician hat and cape.
Personality:[]
David is the fun-loving, adventurous, brave, kind & intelligent kid who's got the great magic tricks since he was 6 years old.
After his mother passed away, his father is remarried to his caring stepmother, they're gonna to have a baby, he's thinks he believes they don't love him anymore, then he's starts to ran away from home, where he meets Charlie and Itchy at his first time in Sasha's junkyard, as they followed her at her home to bring some food to her as he's thinks Charlie and Itchy are angels or guardian angels, but he and Charlie became fast friends if Charlie helps him do his magic tricks in Carney Square.

Early Life[]
He lost his biological mother. He has a stepmother due to his father re-marrying and is disappointed about it, so he flees home. Now living under the care of Sasha La Fleur, he has an interest in magic and earning money from Cannery Square (Easy Street), a tourist attraction spot where people perform.
All Dogs Go to Heaven 2[]
After Charlie and Itchy meet Sasha in the dog bar, she takes them outback where she introduces them to a little boy, she has named David who has run away from home. When Charlie asks David why he ran away from home, he said it was because his mom died and that his dad has married again, and now his dad and stepmother are gonna have a baby together, and he believes that they won't love him anymore. He also tells Charlie that he hopes to do magic tricks and become famous and when he finds out that Charlie is an angel, he believes that Charlie is his guardian angel. Charlie offers to help David become a successful magician if David helps him retrieve horn which is in the San Francisco Police Station, which David agrees to.
At the police station the four of them sneak into the back, unaware that David's Dad and Stepmother are there and have left a photo of him to the police in case they find him. David, Charlie, Itchy, and Sasha find the horn in a locked-up cage and quickly retrieve it and run as fast as they can for the exit, but David accidentally bumps into a female police cop who recognizes him from the picture his parents left and tries to chase him but luckily, he and the others escape on a red scooter.
Afterwards, Charlie helps David become a magician (Easy Street) by acting out for a group on the streets which goes well, but soon becomes a disaster and David and the dogs are left in the streets in the rain without money. Once they take shelter Sasha tells David that although his Dad and Stepmother are gonna have a baby together, they will always love him and that parents can love more than one pup (child). Charlie also reveals that he ran away from home when he was a puppy and never saw his parents again and that David's Mom will always watch over him from Heaven to which David says he'll go home again if Charlie takes him but then Charlie becomes invisible after the collar that made him visible disappears and David believes that Charlie has left, and he and Sasha go to the train station to find the train home sadly. At the train station David's magic card falls out of his pocket but as he goes to pick it up Charlie's old nemesis Carface (who is working for Red the Cat Devil) appears and kidnaps David just as Charlie arrives and orders Charlie to bring Gabriel's horn to Red's hideout Alcatraz in 1 hour or else David will meet his fate. At Alcatraz, David is put into a cell as Red and Carface wait for Charlie who shows up with the horn and sets David free, but as they try to escape Red plays the horn.

An Itch in Time[]
David receives a voice recorder from his dad on his birthday, as Charlie and Itchy bump into it with him on the streets the following morning. However, David shows off his new gadget in school, thus receiving detention. Charlie wants to give David a great birthday. Using David's voice recorder, Charlie creates an impromptu David look-alike with the voice recorder repeatedly saying mathematical equations and sneaks him out of detention.

Miss Guidance[]
David has a minor role. He finds Charlie in the schoolyard and his friendly female classmate Alex in despair because she is looking for her science notes. After this scene, he is no longer seen until the big test.
History of All Dogs[]
David has to write a report on dogs though he finds them boring, so, as he is tired, Charlie (with help from Itchy) makes up a story about how dogs saved the world. Although he finishes, it turns out it is Saturday, so David decided to write his own report.

He was led on by Charlie to believe that he is his "Guardian Angel". Charlie uses his miracle to grant Sasha the ability to converse with David.
Sasha[]
His companion who acts as a motherly figure to David (before she finds out he ran away). It appears that Sasha sings with serenity at the lounge so that David can make a living. Charlie later grants a miracle at which gives her the ability to converse with David.
Alex[]
It is shown in the TV series' episode "Miss Guidance" that he is friends with a girl named Alex.

Trivia:[]
- David is the replacement of Anne-Marie. Anne-Marie could never be recast since she was a dedicated character of Judith Barsi, which was her last character she voiced before she died.
- When All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 was first in production, David's appearance started out different than his actual appearance. He wore a red shirt, blue pants, and a blue-and-white baseball cap and his hair was blonde.
- He is only eight years old, but, according to Charlie, he is "56 in dog years". He turns ten in "An Itch in Time", which implies the TV series takes place two years after the movie.
- David's only appearances in the TV series are the episodes "An Itch in Time," "Magical Misery Tour," "Miss Guidance," and "History of All Dogs." He is even mentioned in "Heaventh Inning Stretch".
- "Miss Guidance" was the last time in which Adam Wylie has an actual juvenile voice. Wylie's voice was changing, explaining the difference in David's voice in "History of All Dogs." This is because Wylie was going through adolescence at the time.
